A History of Flavor
Our founder, Li Jinshang, was the first to invent oyster sauce. He was boiling oysters for guests at his restaurant, but forgot to turn off the fire, causing the soup to cook down and create an unexpectedly delicious sauce. For more than a century afterwards, Mr. Li, his family and employees have continued to develop and refine exciting new flavors.
